EMEA Slovenia Activities in 2024
Below is a presentation of the work of EMEA Slovenia (Drustvo bolnikov Zebra - Zebra patients association) during 2024 and the last of 26 videos produced in that year.
In the Zebra
Patient Society , has helped and continue to help patients with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia
and coexisting rare connective tissue and rheumatic and genetic diseases.
In 2024, Drustvo bolnikov Zebra implemented
the "1000 faces of fibromyalgia" project ( = education about the difference between
fibromyalgia, ME/CFS and burn out), which took place in many cities in Slovenia.
They organised
3 rehabilitations for patients, organised the 1st international congress for ME/CFS in Slovenia,
and participated in two meetings or congresses in Serbia as active speakers.
They were several times
in the media, including foreign media, raised awareness about the disease at meetings around Slovenia,
had organised legal assistance, made and uploaded 25 videos on YouTube about the disease, made an
international leaflet and an international zoom meeting and a contribution in the international video on
May 12, International ME Awareness Day.
Drustvo bolnikov Zebra also cooperated with sister Balkan societies and EMEA.
