EMEA has again written to European health ministers calling for a
Europe-wide ban on blood donations from people diagnosed with ME/CFS in order to
safeguard Europe's blood banks from contamination.

UK implements a lifetime ban on people with ME from donating blood. Following
letters to the Department of Health and the Chief Medical Officer of England by EMEA UK
member Invest in ME people with ME are now prohibited from donating blood.
